Dr. Yael Halaas Yael Halaas is a plastic surgeon in New York City and the Founder and President of the American Jewish Medical Association (AJMA). Dr. Halaas has spearheaded national efforts to combat antisemitism in healthcare by uniting Jewish healthcare professionals and promoting excellence and compassionate healthcare for all.
